Nice to meet you!

I'm a native of the California Bay Area now living in Texas.  As a published author, speaker, screenwriter, marketing specialist, and publicist I’m savvy with numerous communication channels.

I understand the noisy landscape in messaging and how important it is to find ways to stand out.

I co-founded nonprofit Operation Literacy, along with its many literacy programs and events such as Teen author Boot Camp, one of the nation’s most successful literary conferences for teens. We bring together A-list authors and thousands of young aspiring writers to workshop and learn from one another. It's exciting and fun to work with the next generation of creative communicators. I have led TABC's in marketing, media relations, campaign planning, and social media—quintupling its size in the first eight years.

I'm passionate about travel, books, music, healthy eating, classic film, and nature. I have a black belt in Taekwondo and a competitive spirit. I love being involved with anything that promotes authentic connections and community.
